Case studies and success stories are very important for your marketing. It gives people a chance to see what they can expect from your business before they buy.
Sunshine: Are you using success stories in your marketing?

Success stories in your marketing. Isn’t everybody using that?
Crystal: You would think so, but very few are.
Sunshine: Do you have like a specific formula for this? Or something that you can share to make it easy for everybody in their business to share success stories?
Crystal: Absolutely. But first let’s talk about why case studies, success stories are so powerful.
Sunshine: All right.
Crystal: Why do you think they are so powerful?
Sunshine: Well, a case study is kind of like the success of one of your clients and it shows, humanizes them.
Crystal: And it elicits the bandwagon affect. If other people are getting positive results by working with you, other people will want to do it too. And they will want to jump on the bandwagon with everyone else and get that positive result. It is a very powerful sales conversion tool.
Sunshine: I like it.
Crystal: But now let’s talk about the formula to create success stories so that everyone at home can start creating them and using them in their marketing.
Sunshine: I like it.
Crystal: So, the formula to create great powerful case studies is four points. Number one, who came to you? Number two, why did they come to you? Number three, how you actually helped them? And number four, the actual positive result that they got by working with you? So, your homework is to go through all your past clients, current clients, customers, and start drawing up some case studies, no more than a paragraph, sometimes they are two paragraphs. Put them in your marketing and in your sales process.
Sunshine: Those are great tips. And seems fairly easy.
Crystal: Yes, very easy.
Sunshine: So, you know, when you are sharing these success stories in your marketing and everybody is doing video, do you think it would be a good idea to record some of your clients after their success story took place? I mean, I know it’s like a big production and everything. But would you recommend doing that?
Crystal: You can do video. But you can also just write them down and put them on your website.
