Sunshine: We’re at the beginning of the second quarter. So, how many books have you read this year?

Crystal: Welcome to The Love of Business. I’m Crystal.

Sunshine: And I’m Sunshine. Let’s get to it.

All right, reading is so important. And I really need to make more time to do that. But what are some ways that we can, you know, like business books and self-improvement books. But I mean, really like business books is a good idea, right?

Crystal: Yes, business books, and, you know, self-improvement that helps you succeed. So today, we’re really focused on those type of books today. And think of it like this, you can get a library card, they have tons of business and self-improvement books. And then you’ll get proven strategies, tips to grow yourself and your business. Think of it like a free MBA.

Sunshine: Those are expensive, if you get it the traditional way, I suppose. So, what are some ways that we can make more time to actually read more? I mean, I could use some input on how to make more time because it’s scaling so fast.

Crystal: I think we all can use some tips. Three ways to get that free MBA. Number one, put 30 minutes into your calendar daily to read. If it’s in your calendar, it will happen.

Number two, surround yourself with books. That could be your home study or going to the library a lot.

And number three, join a book club for accountability so you have some partners reminding you that you are going to meet and talk about the book and how to actually apply it to grow your business. Remember, leaders are readers.

Sunshine: What’s your number one takeaway from today’s video? Leave us a comment and thanks for watching.
