Welcome to The Love of Business. I’m Crystal.

And I’m Sunshine. Let’s get to it.

So, what do you mean by educate your clients?

Great question. So, what I mean by educating your clients is how you are going to work with them, what they should expect, what is going to happen when, and what does desired result is going to be generated by working together?

Benefits of Educating Your Clients

What exactly is this going to alleviate? And how is this going to benefit the customer or the client?

Yes. Let’s talk about that. So, what it’s going to alleviate is a lot of complaints that businesses receive because there is a disconnect between what the customer expects to happen and what is actually happening. So, this makes everyone a lot happier when you get aligned with your customers and give them the desired result.

Thanks for that. Can you give us a few tips on how to educate our clients? And what would be the best way to go about that?

Absolutely. Happy to do so.

Great.

Tips for Educating Your Clients

So, today, I’m going to give you three tips on how to educate your clients. There are more than three tips. But today, to keep everything easy and simple, we’re just going to focus on these three.

Set expectations and boundaries with your clients

So, tip number one, set expectations and boundaries with your clients right away. So, they know what’s going to happen, when it’s going to happen, and when they will get their desired results.

Use simple words your clients can easily digest and process

Tip two, when you’re talking with your clients, make sure you use simple words that they can easily digest and process. Because if it’s too complicated, they won’t be able to comprehend it on the level that you want.

So, you don’t want me to whip out any 10-point words from the dictionary that are just exacerbating to a client to process?

Yes, it’s not a spelling bee. And no one wins when you use hard words.

Educate clients/customers on your full menu of products and services

Tip three, make sure that you’re educating all of your customers on your full menu of products and services. Because the likelihood of them needing something else that is related to something that they are already buying from you, is very high. And they can benefit from that for you because if they already bought one time, they are already sold. So, you don’t have to sell them again. And it just improves their lives as well due to the convenience of you having other services and products that they need.

Well, thanks for the Crystal. What’s your number on take away? Don’t forget to leave us a comment. And like, share, and subscribe.
