Sunshine: An endless stream of prospects sounds good right about now, doesn’t it?

Crystal: Welcome, For the Love of Business. I’m Crystal.

Sunshine: And I’m Sunshine. Let’s get to it.

Endless stream of prospects.

Crystal: Sounds great, doesn’t it?

Sunshine: If you convert them to clients.

Crystal: That’s true.

Sunshine: So, how is networking going to help us have this endless stream of prospects?

Crystal: Yes. So, when you do networking with other business owners or even people of the community, you’re building lifetime relationships with them so that they know they can trust and will refer you business.

Sunshine: So, are there things that we should be doing while we are networking? Or things that we should be looking out for? Like, what’s this video about?

Crystal: So, when you are trying to start networking, the most important thing for you to know is that not all of networking is created equal. Meaning there is some really good networking groups and some really bad networking groups. So, when you are looking to choose, number one, make sure it is a business focused group, okay? Because you want to make sure it is not a social group. That’s not what we are looking for here. We want to be able to refer business and receive referrals.

Number two, make sure that the structure of the meeting has an agenda and that there recording, you know, referrals and things of that nature. Number three, make sure you are going to receive an ROI from the networking event.

Sunshine: I think you missed on Crystal.

Crystal: What’s that?

Sunshine: When you go into a networkers meeting, make sure, before you go in, you set your intentions. Super important.

Crystal: That’s right.

Sunshine: How many referrals are you to leave with?

Crystal: At least one big one.

Sunshine: What’s your number one takeaway from today’s video? Leave us a comment. And thanks for watching.
